History

Albu Rural Municipality Government started to construct the Valgehobusemäe Ski and Recreation Center in 1997, after it purchased 14 hectares of local real estate. The goal was to establish a year-round fitness sports centre for all sports lover! The project manager is Kalju Kertsmik, the Mayor of Albu Rural Municipality, and the project development team also includes Jaak Mae. The Center has become the regional fitness sports center for Järva County!

From 16th of December 2016, the Center is administred and managed by Foundation Valgehobusemäe Ski and Recreation Center.
